Has it really been a year?

I can't believe that it's been so long since I've posted on the Price Peeps blog. Apparently, Facebook has infiltrated my life more than I had realized. This week I will do my best to get some updates on here, along with some photos from a selection of milestones during the past year or so.

Happy 4th of July!

McKenna created this great photo using Photoshop & Microsoft Paint. We celebrated our independence today by going for a swim and hanging around the house lazy style. Now we're heading outside to enjoy burgers, hot dogs, and some good ole apple pie. The Price Peeps wish you a happy fourth of July!

Quinn did it!!!

Yay!!! Quinn turns 8 years old on Tuesday, but it was he who surprised us with an early birthday gift. He went potty on the toilet!!!

He's been standing up to pee for just over a year now, but we haven't been able to get him to take that next step. We've been having him sit on the toilet regularly to get more used to it, and they have been doing the same at his school. Tonight when I told him it was time to get ready for his bath and to go to bed, he told me he needed to poop. This is normally my queue to give him a pull-up, but I told him to go sit down on the potty and poop, and...he did it! Woo hoo!!! We called everyone into the bathroom to celebrate, because this is a HUGE milestone for Quinn developmentally. We are incredibly proud of our Quinn. :o)
